Several shamisen players in Japan can play the basic Melody of Spain. However, nobody has come close to the way Reigen has developed it, weaving together melody and chords seamlessly through this song. Prepare for the most intensive shamisen lesson in chords, voicings, combinations of melody & chordwork, and much more!

Needless to say, this course is advanced level. Probably beyond advanced. Because of this, notation is not included, you must follow Reigen’s directions directly.

While this course is intended for very, very advanced players, everyone is welcome to use if a challenge is desired! The chordwork is great training for finger coordination and precision.
