The Dou is skinned with brand-new durable Hibiki synthetic skin in traditional white, providing consistent tension and resonant sound ideal for both practice and performance.

In our opinion, a Min’yo Shamisen is a viable alternative to a Tsugaru Shamisen, possessing almost all of the characteristics, but in a smaller size. This shamisen, with a “Go Rin Dai” body size, won’t be as loud as a real Tsugaru, but it won’t disappoint either.

In excellent condition, this Shamisen is well maintained and ready to perform.
This shamisen has had a repair done to the tip of the tenjin, and only a couple of tiny scratches.
