This is a used instrument from Bachido’s inventory, in like-new condition, shipping directly from California.

Condition

Like-new, with minimal signs of use: The only wear on the top of the sao is the faintest indentation of the wound ichi no ito against the wood, which happens even when a new shamisen has been lightly played a few times. I personally feel it’s too faint to truly describe as “wear”. but is also visible enough that it couldn’t be considered brand new. Besides that, theres’s a few light scuff marks on the dou. Playability and tone are unaffected.

Premium Upgrades Included

This shamisen comes with two upgrades already installed:

Hibiki Sonic Skin — Bachido’s latest synthetic skin (yet to be released), engineered to be the closest match to natural skin in both tone and feel. It has a powerful, resonant tone with excellent durability.

Elite Itomaki — Bachido’s precision-machined tuning pegs, designed to hold tune reliably without slipping (when used correctly).
