It is suitable for small and medium shamisen, such as Nagauta, Jiuta, Min’yo, Kouta, Hauta, etc. It is not suitable for Tsugaru or Gidayu Shamisen.
Regardless of the hard exterior, please be careful when traveling by plane with it, as the shamisen can still be damaged due to handling and heavy turbulence.
For long travels, please store your shamisen disassembled inside the hard case.
